Warhammer 40k Space Marine RELOADED

Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine is a third-person action video game developed by Relic Entertainment and published by THQ. It was released for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on September 6, 2011, in North America and September 9, 2011, in Europe. The game takes place in Games Workshop’s Warhammer 40,000 universe and features the Ultramarines chapter. Its gameplay focuses on a hybrid shooting and melee combat model.


In Space Marine, the player engages enemies through a third-person view with both melee and ranged attacks. The player character, Titus, is given enhanced regenerative abilities and an Iron Halo, after progress has been made further into the story. When health gets low, performing executions can allow Titus to get a portion of his health back. Titus is accompanied by Sidonus and Leandros for most of the missions, though in some instances missions are performed solo. The game features a fury system that, when filled up, allows the player to either slow time for aiming or perform devastating melee attacks.
The starting weapons include a combat knife and a pistol, though the player can acquire other weapons. The game includes a new weapon not featured in the table-top game known as the Vengeance Launcher, which can shoot sticky grenades.
The main antagonists the player must fight are the Orks and the Forces of Chaos. The Orks are an alien race whose sheer numbers and brutish warriors make a devastating opponent. The Forces of Chaos are a far more serious threat who can extinguish the life of whole star systems by summoning nearly limitless amounts of horrors that flourish in a parallel universe known as The Warp. Portals conjured by the Traitor Legions - renegade Space Marines - allow the daemons to cross over into real-space.

In Postal III, The Postal Dude emigrates to Paradise's sister town of Catharsis as he previously blew up Paradise with a nuclear bomb.[6] Due to the economic meltdown, the Dude drives into town and becomes stranded by the fact he can not even afford a tank of gas. He then must find work and do various odd jobs to escape the town.

Through the course of the game the player can chose one of two paths, the "bad path" which includes joining in on the schemes of Mayor Chomo and Uncle Dave, or the "good path " which involves the Dude joining the Catharsis Police force. The game will take place in a fairly linear and cinematic way, although the players actions will affect the outcome of the story and the game. Although the "good path " will be more difficult to play, it will offer more story line and a longer campaign.

Hitman Absolution

Absolution has been built “from the ground up” in the new Glacier 2 engine, created by IO Interactive, and will have Agent 47 running from the law “on a personal journey through a corrupt and twisted world” that will be “both a familiar and yet significantly different experience to any of the other Hitman games.”

Agent 47 has been betrayed by his most trusted allies (again), and must take on a new and dangerous contract to uncover the truth behind the conspiracy that surrounds him. IO say that Absolution will be “something our silent assassins will relish as well as those who are new to the Hitman world.”

A fresh new batch of information aboutt IO 's upcoming Hitman game has surfaced, with revelations that the game is being built from scratch on the studio's new Glacier 2 Engine.

In Hitman: Absolution, Agent 47 is said to be on the run after being betrayed by those he trusted.

Much like Batman: Arkham Asylum, the new Tomb Raider game, and Assassin's Creed, Hitman will have an "Instinct Mode" that works very much like detective mode, survival vision, and eagle vision. This will replace map screens from the previous Hitman games. The auto-map in the corner of the screen will however remain a fixture in the new game.

Instinct mode will allow Agent 47 to see enemies through walls, burning-red trails highlighting patrol routes and points of interests such as climbable ledges and vents will be marked. It can also allow Agent 47 to maximize his disguise.

Instinct mode can only be used for a short time, and is powered by a bar that refills when Agent 47 performs silent takedowns on his foes.

Unlike previous games, enemy patrol paths will be shorter and more organic, allowing Agent 47 to anticipate when the AI is going to do something, reducing the chance of the player getting randomly caught.

The threat meter has been given a revamp, allowing the players to discern where he has been spotted by indicators at the edges of a grey reticle in the center of the screen.

Additionally, Agent 47 can make use of weapons found within the environment. As environments are unique, Agent 47 will have a lot to work with on every mission.

Levels in the game will be divided into discrete checkpoints—much like Half-Life 2, rather than distinct map changes and loading screens. Every location will be contained within smaller sandboxes, allowing the developers to better control the game's pacing and bring more variety into the gameplay.

Unfortunately for fans of the old game, the game's soundtrack will not be scored by Jesper Kyd, nor will Agent 47's long time actor David Bateson be making a return.

More information about Hitman: Absolution is expected to surface in the months to come.
